When it comes to showing your pride and joy at a car show or even a local meet, you want - and need - to make sure that your vehicle is looking the best it can be.
There's nothing worse than arriving at a circuit, field or even just a coffee meet car park to show your car, and it looks as though it's been dragged through the local farmer's field or parked under a pigeon toilet for a week. Avoid the judgment with Stjärnagloss.
HERE'S WHAT TO USE:
SILKE
For that clean, glossy and pristine look, simply spray on any panel, wheel, or any component in your engine bay… heck, even exterior and interior plastics… and the best thing of all? Silke is pH-neutral, non-caustic and safe over glazes, sealants and waxes, meaning it won't strip any of your precious polymers from your paintwork - win-win, right? I use Silke for a safe and reliable detailer, to wipe away dust and road contaminants that I may have picked up on the way to a show.
PÄRLA
This can be treated as Silke's next stage product. This impressive sealant featuring nano technology ingredients will give your paintwork even more gloss, depth and protection, boasting a timeframe of around 3-5 months, shielding your bodywork from everyday road dirt and grime. And it offers satisfying and impressive water beading to any panel that Pärla has been lucky enough to hit. Of course, Pärla can also be used as a top up spray sealant after a routine maintenance wash, too.
GUMMI
Ah, yes – for those all-important tyres (and trim). Any time I show my car, I'll fuss over tyre dressing. I was never sure if there was ever enough, repeatedly coating the black circles wrapping my obnoxiously gold Superleggera's. This, of course, was once upon a time when I'd use other brands (beginning with 'M' and rhyming with 'expires'). I've never had that problem with Gummi. One slick coating of this stuff and it's done. I never have to wonder if there's enough product dressing the rubber. With its satin sheen coating, it's the perfect balance of glossy, and not-too-glossy! Obviously, it goes without saying, it works just as well on trims, too. For best results on rubber and plastic, consider using a Foam Disc Applicator instead of a Fingerborg.
GLAS
There's nothing worse than dirty windows on your car (especially if you have tints!), and glass is an often overlooked part of the whole car cleansing process. Not only can dirty glass obscure your vision, but when showing your ride, it can make your showpiece look particularly grubby and mucky. With streak-free, superior cleaning power, Glas is tint-safe and incredibly versatile… you can even use it for plastic/polycarb windows if you have a fast road/track monster. Glas works great with our Rutig Glass Cloth to deliver fast, smear-free results.
So, although my cleaning process when arriving at shows is rather thorough and 'OCD' – even just a few of the steps above, whether before the show or when you get there – will help your car get more of a Stjärnagloss shine (and more approving looks than disapproving stares!).
