Wheel Cleaning Bucket

Everyone knows that the two-bucket method (2BM) is the safest way to wash your car, take wash solution from the wash bucket, dunk into the rinse bucket to remove dirt, and then take fresh wash mixture from the wash bucket again. It’s simple, effective, and reduces the chances of introducing scratches or swirls to your paint.

But did you know you can make it even safer? Our Car Wash Buckets come with dirt catchers to help capture dirt at the bottom of the bucket and prevent it from being taken up into the mitt during water agitation.

Colour coded stickers help easy identification of different bucket types during use and our new 20 litre buckets are almost completely transparent - so you can see exactly how dirty the water is getting (and therefore replace it if necessary).

Enhanced Safety: The dirt catchers are an extra layer of protection against scratches and swirls, making your car wash routine even safer.

Clear Visibility: With semi-transparent buckets, you can easily monitor water clarity, ensuring you're always washing with clean water.

High Capacity: The 20.5-litre capacity (typically filled to around 16-17 litres) is perfect for both home detailers and pros.

Q: How do the dirt catchers work?

A: The dirt catchers sit at the bottom of your bucket and prevent heavier sediment in the water from circulating freely, preventing these particles them from getting onto your wash mitt and scratching your paint.

Q: Can I use this kit with any type of car wash soap?

A: Absolutely! The buckets and dirt catchers are compatible with all car wash soaps, shampoos and rinsing agents.

Q: Is the third bucket necessary?

A: While the two-bucket method is the standard for safe washing, a third bucket dedicated to wheel washing can further reduce the risk of cross-contamination between your wheels and paint.

Q: How do I clean the dirt catchers?

A: Simply rinse the dirt catchers with water to remove trapped particles. You can also use a soft brush if necessary to dislodge any stubborn debris.

Q: The buckets come with stickers, how do I apply them?

A: Simply ensure the plastic surface is clean, remove the backing sheet from the sticker and position centrally on the bucket. Stick down letter by letter from one side to the other, smoothing as you go, to prevent air bubbles. Then when the entire sticker is stuck down, pull the application paper off at an acute angle carefully leaving the sticker behind. Any air bubbles can be popped with a pin, needle or scalpel blade and sometimes a hot air gun/hairdryer can help.
