SNOW FOAM - WHAT IS IT & HOW TO USE IT?

WHAT IS SNOW FOAM?

Snow Foam is a pre-washing product, and it helps to disintegrate and get rid of grime and dirt accumulated on the paintwork of vehicles. Snow foam minimises the amount of dirt and grime before a contact wash with a wash sponge or a mitt. Products for pre-wash are best used to get rid of loose dirt, grime, and dust which results in a car that is ready to be cleaned.

Snow foam is the complete solution for car wash; it will keep the car squeaky clean and fully ready for any event.

THE BEST WAY TO APPLY SNOW FOAM?

Snow foam needs to be applied using the Snow foam lance. Another way is to apply the snow foam with a pressurised snow sprayer, but you will not get the same results as if you were using the lance and the pressure washer.

WHAT DOES SNOW FOAM LOOK LIKE?

Snow foam has a normal white colour (there are also snow foams with colours) and is offered in various levels of thicknesses. Starting from a thin foam layer to products with similar consistencies like the shaving foam.

The foam’s thickness usually determines your chosen level of dilution. Many manufacturers usually use about 1 and 2 inches of the foam from the bottle’s bottom, yet this slight difference can go a long way in producing a good foam.

Our snow foam is designed to be thicker than usual - as a denser snow foam it provides a longer dwell team to help carry more dirt away without affecting your car's coating.

WHY IS SNOW FOAM THICKNESS IMPORTANT?

One reason why getting the right snow foam can be hard is that all snow foam lances and pressure washers work differently in a slight way. Additionally, various snow foams come with various formulas that can produce various results. When you mix up the snow foam and water once with the lance bottle and another time when it gets pulled into the jet stream of the pressure washer, it is simple to mix excess snow foam, and it is also simple not to have enough water in the snow foam.

These are two of the most popular problems when mixing your snow foam. You must stick to the instructions of the manufacturer as they all vary depending on the thickness.

When using our Snow foam product, we recommend every 100ml bottle to your snow foam cannon's 1 litre dosing bottle and top up with water. Then you will see the effects of that thick, luxuriant foam.

WHY USE SNOW FOAM?

The snow foam helps make car washing easy by partially disintegrating the dirt on the paintwork, tires, and other car surfaces. This makes it a lot easier to use the usual shampoo to complete the job. This usually leads to a much cleaner vehicle that will be protected from future dirt and paintwork damage. Furthermore, your car will be a lot easier to clean off since most of the paintwork dirt would have fallen off during rinsing.

SNOW FOAM VS SHAMPOO

Snow foam is very different from shampoo. However, they both disintegrate dirt into smaller parts. But they are very different. Snow foam is usually sprayed on the car, and it is left for some time to settle in the paintwork.

Do not try to clean off the snow foam from your vehicle using a wash mitt or cloth. It will cause scratches and swirls.

SHOULD MY SNOW FOAM BE PH NEUTRAL?

Snow foam with a neutral pH has a much gentler effect on the paintwork of the vehicle. Alot of people which use snow foam to clean their vehicles often ask if snow foam can damage the protective sealants & wax on their car, most consumer grade snow foams including ours are not alkaline based to do this.
