A fine/medium-grade clay bar that’s tough on dirt but gentle on your paint.

Deeper decon is essential for perfect paint; there's only so much that cleaners and polishes can remove - anything harder than paint can be pushed into it and need shearing or plucking out. And try sap and tar spots can be difficult to budge. Hence why you need a clay bar to glide over the paint and remove embedded contamination.

Lera is suitable for all paint types being a fine/medium blend; always use in conjunction with a clay lubricant to prevent marring.

Perfect Grade: Some clay bars are too gentle, while others are too harsh. Lera offers the perfect fine/medium grade to remove contamination without damaging your paint.

Versatile Use: Safe for all paint types (with care!), as well as wheels and glass. Just avoid textured or matte finishes.

Efficient: Quickly removes embedded contaminants, leaving your paint smooth and ready for polishing or waxing.

Preparation: After rinsing your car, keep it wet and spray Glir clay lubricant on the cool, wet panel.

Shape the Clay: Tear or cut a small piece from a 50g bar (you get 2x50g in a packet), forming it into a flat pancake about three fingers wide.

Clay the Surface: Gently rub the clay over the panel, feeling the surface change from rough to smooth as it decontaminates. Check the clay regularly for dirt and fold it to reveal a clean surface.

Repeat & Replace: Continue using the folded clay until it’s too dirty. Discard the used piece and repeat the process on the next section.

Q: Can Lera be used on all surfaces?
A: Yes, Lera can be used on paintwork, wheels, and glass. Avoid using it on textured trim and matte paint as it may alter the finish.

Q: Do I need a clay lubricant?
A: Yes, always use a clay lubricant like Glir to ensure smooth movement and avoid scratching.

Q: How often should I fold the clay?
A: Fold the clay when it becomes dirty, presenting a clean surface to avoid spreading contaminants.

Q: Can I reuse the clay?
A: You can reuse the same piece until it gets too dirty or worn. Once it’s full of contaminants, discard it.
