Tar removal is normally an unpleasant experience because strong solvents are involved...But with Tjära, we've made the process much more pleasant. Using natural orange oil as the active ingredient, Tjära is not only effective but also enjoyable to use, with a refreshing citrus scent that makes the job a little easier.

Do yourself a favour and do not coat the entire car in tar and glue remover…you don’t need to. Isolate the area and have a look, especially on light-coloured cars, you’ll see the pinpricks of tar. On dark colour cars, just have a feel, it will always be above the surface.

How to Use

1. Spot Treatment: Simply spray Tjära directly onto the tar spot or residue. Allow it to dwell for 10-15 seconds to break down the tar, then buff it away with a soft cloth.
2. Direct Application: Alternatively, spray Tjära onto a cloth and gently rub the affected area to remove tar, glue, or stubborn residues.

Q: Can I use Tjära on my wrap?

A: Yes you can, but we advise spraying it onto a cloth then spot treating the area, this removes the chance of over application and it getting behind the wrap and attacking the adhesive.

Q: Can I use this as a tyre cleaner?

A: Yes but be sure to rinse thoroughly so it doesn’t dry out your sidewall.

Q: Can this be used on smart repairs?

A: Assuming the paint has cured fully you should be fine, but always test on an inconspicuous area first.
