If you don’t know what Glatt is, get to know.

It’s a water-repellent rinse aid designed to protect your car quickly and efficiently. Glatt not only enhances the shine of your car but also helps water and contaminants run off the surface, minimising water spots and making future cleaning easier.

Don’t upset Cav by using it all over the car before rinsing. We (especially Cav) would recommend you use it one panel at a time to prevent over-curing, and in turn, not giving the desired outcome.

Whack it in your basket and give it a try, your car will thank you.

Quick and Easy Application: Simply apply Glatt to your wet car after washing and rinsing, then rinse off with water.

Hydrophobic Coating: Creates a water-repellent layer that helps prevent water spots and contamination from sticking.

  1. Wash your car using the two-bucket method (please!) and rinse thoroughly.
  2. While the car is still wet, apply Glatt onto the surface.
  3. Rinse the car again with a pressure washer to activate the hydrophobic coating.
  4. For best results, dry the car with a soft microfibre cloth to avoid watermarks or streaks. And that's it. Job done.

Pro Tips:

Use smaller buffing microfibre cloths for drying, as your finest drying towels may become water repellent over time.

Be mindful not to over-apply Glatt, as it may lead to streaks if not buffed dry.

Dispenser Tap: Need a dispenser tap for easy access to your 5-litre container? Pop one in your basket.

Q: Why should I dry the car after applying Glatt?

A: Drying the car after applying Glatt helps to prevent watermarks and streaks. While Glatt provides a strong sealant, over-application or leaving it to dry on its own may lead to unwanted streaks if not buffed dry.

Q: Can I use Glatt on windows and other parts of the car?

A: Yes, Glatt can be used on windows, but we advise against the windscreen. It’s just not worth the risk of it reacting with an old coating and impairing visibility.

Q: How long do I leave Glatt on the care for?

A: No time at all, apply to a panel, step back and rinse off straightway. Avoid using Glatt in direct sunlight or on a warm panel.

Q: How does Glatt compare to other rinse aids?

A: Glatt is designed for quick application and provides a high level of water repellency and shine. Its easy-to-use formula and effective performance make it a standout choice among rinse aids.

Q: Do I need any special equipment to use Glatt?

A: You can use a pressure washer to remove the excess.
