Winter’s over, but your car is probably still carrying the evidence. Road salt, grime, muddy mats and dusty interiors don’t disappear on their own, which is why spring is the perfect time for a proper reset.
Exterior Clean
Winter is hardest on your paintwork, wheels and any coatings that may still be on the car.
Pre-wash & wash
- Först – Loosens winter grime and road salt before you get hands on.
- Bubblor – Provides a proper contact wash to leave paint clean and glossy.
Tip: Always use two buckets and keep the dirty bits until last. Swap the rinse water half-way if you need to.
Wheels & tyres
- Hjul – After a thorough blast from the pressure washer, use Hjul to remove underlying brake dust.
Tip: You can use Först as a tyre cleaner to get the ‘browness’ out with a Skrubba tyre brush.
Decontaminate & protect
- Lera – Our decontamination clay bar gets rid of embedded contaminants, it’s worth doing as a spring clean and you may get away with doing it just once a year…
- Skära – Refine your finish with a light polish. Use a Gnugga microfibre pad, a couple of Kantlös buffing cloths and a bit of elbow grease to reduce swirls and boost gloss ahead of protection.
- Pärla – Helps make the car easier to clean, locks in shine and provides long-lasting protection.
Tip: Pärla can also be used on exterior trim if it’s in good condition, and it works just as well on wheels.
Interior Clean
Clear & vacuum
- Remove everything from the cabin and boot.
- Vacuum carpets, seats, mats and hard-to-reach areas, shake the floormats outside the car beforehand.
Interior surfaces
- Inni – A gentle, water-based, all-purpose cleaner for all hard and soft interior surfaces, so from dashboard to headlining. Use a Kantlos on hard surfaces, or opt for a colourfast Rutig cloth on soft surfaces (with a Viskelaer brush on hand for those vigorous carpet cleans!).
Glass (inside & out)
- Glas – Crystal-clear glass for better visibility in springtime low sun.
Tip: Clean the inside glass in vertical strokes and the outside in horizontal (or vice versa). That way, if you spot any smears, you’ll know exactly which side they’re on.
