50 cars in 24 hours, 4 men, 1 goal. Raise £10,000 in a day!

Thank you so much for taking an interest in making a positive difference. Last year we raised £10k in a week, this year we want to do £10k in a day. We need to plan, we must be strategic and we have to be upfront and honest with our customers and friends.

Saturday 24th May 2025 into Sunday 25th May 2025.

WHAT

50 cars in 24 hours - no stopping. 

Cars will be cleaned inside and out.

The selected charities are; Young Epilepsy, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Rays of Sunshine.

There will be two DROP-OFF times, this is to ease up the flow. Before 9:30am Saturday morning and before 10pm Saturday night. 

At Saturday morning drop off, cars will need to be in the car park and keys handed over by 9:30am. 

For evening drop off, cars will need to be dropped off by 10pm and no earlier than 6pm. This is purely to ease the flow. There is a Travelodge (Stansted Great Dunmow) within walking distance if needed.

As much as we love to party, we unfortunately cannot entertain people while we take on this mammoth task. So we will kindly ask people to drop cars off, fill out the form with your details and leave the industrial estate while the car cleaning is going on. We HATE saying that as we are social by nature but we cannot run the risk of anyone having their car damaged or people wandering around late at night unsupervised. 

If you are dropping your car off on Saturday morning, you will be notified when it is finished. You are then more than welcome to come and collect it.

On Sunday morning, all remaining cars will be ready to collect from 10am.

Although we will have people on site at all times and the whole thing will be streamed live on TikTok, we have to mention that cars left with us will be left at your own risk and that we cannot accept any liability for loss, theft or damage regarding your vehicle. The vast majority of cars will be parked in our secure car park but there is always a window of opportunity that we need to park them in a car park of a neighbouring business. 

We will be tagging all owners on Instagram when their car is being washed AND live streaming the entire event on TikTok. 

As well as the cleaning charge, 10% of all Stjarnagloss retail net sales on the day will also be donated to charity. We will also pay any VAT due ourselves and pass on the full amount of your cleaning charge to charity.

Please make sure you are available to drop off the car at the time requested; we cannot collect, deliver or offer an alternative service outside of the timings mentioned. We are unable to offer refunds; if you arrive late or fail to turn up then you will forfeit your right to have your car cleaned and we cannot return your money but will pass it on to charity regardless. Please don't forget it is going to be a good cause <3 

Unfortunately we are unable to sell product on the day as it will just be too much to administrate.
